The 18th International Conference on Building Materials and Components aims to bring together the leading academic scientists, researchers and research scholars to exchange and share their experiences and research results about all aspects of Building Materials and Components.
It also provides the premier interdisciplinary forum for researchers, practitioners and educators to present and discuss the most recent innovations, trends, and concerns, practical challenges encountered and the solutions adopted in the field of Building Materials and Components.
Among the most promising academic papers reviewed by competent reviewers and published on the conference site, is a paper by Korean scientists: Development of Recycled-Modified Asphalt Using Basalt Aggregate.
The post conference proceedings will be abstracted and indexed in the International Science Index, and submitted to be indexed in the Google Scholar, Scopus and Thomson Reuters.
In addition, the conference founders have teamed up with the Special Journal Issue on Advances in Building Materials and Components. A number of selected high-impact full text papers will also be considered for the special journal issues.
This year the conference will be held in Brazil, in the city of Rio de Janeiro. As a reminder, in 2015 the representatives of JSC “Basalt Projects” signed a memorandum of understanding and mutually beneficial cooperation with the delegation of Brazil and according to this memorandum, a plant for manufacturing continuous basalt fiber reinforced composites (CBF) will be built in the Brazilian state of Parana.
