Moscow composite cluster (MCC) is a regional public organization, whose main objective is to develop the composite materials industry and composite-based products, and to expand the research and development infrastructure, as well as to provide the effective commercialization of intellectual property.

Inter-branch engineering center of Bauman Moscow State Technical University Composites Russia is a leading engineering center in the field of composite materials development and composite-based products. The center implements a “closed-cycle” of engineering services, ranging from the novel materials and processing technologies development, to the design and manufacture of composite-based products for the main industrial sectors, including transport, construction, energy, oil and gas, petrochemical and biomedicine.

Bauman Moscow State Technical University (BMSTU) is the first technical university in Russia. BMSTU has 19 departments providing full-time education. University provides postgraduate and doctorate programs and has two affiliated secondary schools. More than 19,000 students study at BMSTU, specializing in a variety of majors connected with the contemporary machine and instrument building. More than 320 doctors of science (Russian degree higher than PhD) and 2000 candidates of science (similar to PhD) teach and do research in BMSTU. In total the University has awarded degrees to about 200 thousand of future engineers. Main parts of the University are scientific and educational divisions, composed of a department and a research institute.
