The event was organized by the Rostec State Corporation with a support of the Minister of Industry and Trade, the Ministry of Communications and the Internet Initiatives Development Fund (IIDF) to take place from 7 to 10 June in the city of Innopolis. The jury panel of Business Club evaluated in total 160 submitted entries and selected 10 projects to the final round.
The projects accepted for consideration had to solve problems of optimizing the production process in whole or in part, or to offer the following: either additional loading for production facilities, or increase in market opportunities, or entry to the new markets.
The range of technologies was broad enough to encompass developments in additive technology, new materials and machines (for steel production and composites), robotics, solutions in the field of latest generation of communication, the Internet, biotechnology, oil and gas industry, eco-friendly production.
The jury has announced Anizoprint the winner of the Best Technology for Industrial Sector. This company developed 3D-printer which uses a high-strength composite material – fiber-reinforced plastic. The team of Anizoprint 3D-printed more than 20 samples for partners in the pilot projects, they have better characteristics compared to the similar products made of traditional materials.
Despite the fact that the Anizoprint’s 3D-printer is at the stage of trial operation, several pieces have already been purchased.
The conference Digital Industry of Industrial Russia was held for the first time, being positioned as an IT event, a new dialogue platform for representatives of the industrial sector, defense industry, government circles, and venture investors.
The organizers decided to shorten the path to implementation that advanced technologies arising at the intersection of IT and industry take, and to arrange direct communication of developer companies with venture investors.
In the future, CIPR intends to develop into the largest Eastern European IT Forum for the industrial sector.
