The Zory facility is now fully operational, supplying NTPT’s complete portfolio of products that includes thin ply unidirectional (UD) prepreg of 15-100 g/m2 and conventional UD of 100-300 g/m2, woven and biaxial prepreg, based on carbon, glass, aramid, basalt, and other fibers. The company’s automated tape laying (ATL) equipment, used to produce custom multiaxial preforms from prepreg tapes, has also been successfully relocated to Zory.
The new facility is part of an ambitious NTPT growth strategy, which additionally to the relocation of its main production plant includes the expansion of its global distribution network, the appointment of senior management figures and a move to new Swiss headquarters.
NTPT develops and produces a wide range of thin ply and conventional prepregs, which are used for lightweight sandwich panels applied in the aerospace, motorsports, marine etc.
The company has recently participated in JEC World 2016 and accepted a JEC World 2016 Innovation Award for its TPT™ Quartz thin ply prepreg that was engineered for prestigious watch brand Richard Mille.
