The organising committee currently considers putting Composite Technology on the list of skills for the next event. A final list of basic skills included in the Kazan WorldSkills will be announced in 2018.
Kazan has an experience in conducting composite technologies competitions. Last autumn Composite Battle World Cup was held with the support of World Skills Russia. Delegates from seven countries took part in the International competition which was part of the main programme.
The WorldSkills Competition is held with a support of international non-profit organisation WorldSkills International to give visibility and importance to professional education, to raise the profile and recognition of skilled people. The first competitions took place in Spain, 1950. Only young people before 22 years of age can participate in the Championship.
