Basalt thermal insulation factory starts operation in Kazakhstan

Politerm LLP commissioned the manufacture of high-quality basalt thermal insulation in the Akmola region of Kazakhstan.

The enterprise is able to annually produce up to 34 thousand tons of insulating slabs from basalt fiber, which they intend to purchase at local and Russian manufacturers so the factory products will be sold at competitive prices.

The machines from Gamma Meccanica, the Italian company, are installed at the plant. This equipment allows for the manufacture of both lightweight boards and the boards that are suitable for making wall and roof sandwich panels. They have purchased imported materials to produce these products before.
