TechnoNICOL releases basalt insulation of new generation

Green Guard, the next generation of basalt insulating materials, is produced using biopolymer resin, which is a proprietary solution of the company’s research centre. In addition to the resin, TechnoNICOL’s professionals have developed a new manufacturing technology.

The first batch has already been delivered to the consumers from the Southern and North-Caucasian FD of Russia. This material can be applied to insulate public buildings, including schools, kindergartens and hospitals. The manufacturing process complies with the standards of environmental management ISO 14001.

The new resin-based thermal insulating material is manufactured at Rostov-based Zavod Techno. It took three months to implement a project with total investments amounted to 15 million rubles. The length of Zavod Techno construction, a resident of the Krasnosulinsky industrial park, took a year. It is one of the most modern facilities for the manufacturing stone wool insulating materials in Europe. The company produces GreenGuard line that was awarded Blue Angel ecolabel last year.
