Filament winding glass fibre epoxy composite tube

This shows filament winding machine in action at Tampere University of Technology, Finland. Pre-tensioned glass fibre rowing is wetted with uncured liquid epoxy and then wound on steel mould to produce test specimen for scientific experiments.

Necessary rock studies of the gabbro and andesite basalt groups for the suitability as the raw material base for the production of continuous basalt fiber (CBF). A unique technique including laboratory melting and pilot-industrial melting at the high-tech equipment.

Our filament winding machine is computer controlled and programmed with National Instruments hardware (servo control cards) & software (LabView). It is easily configurable to produce also more complex products.
