Automated Dynamics Celebrates Grand Opening

As a result of the company’s continued growth, Automated Dynamics has recently moved into a new 30,000 square-foot building in Niskayuna, New York, US, where it celebrated its grand opening on Wednesday, 13 July 2016.

The modern facility has been built to support the company’s expansion strategy as their client base advances globally. “We are thrilled to be here in Niskayuna,” says company President, Rob Langone, “and honoured by the turnout for our Grand Opening. This building provides for our business needs now and over the next few years. It offers our employees a minimal change in commute over our last location and provides customers with a site that is fitting of the products and services we deliver.”

Along with the expansion, Automated Dynamics says it will be increasing its workforce by more than 60% over the next five years. New jobs will be added in Sales and Engineering, as well as on the manufacturing floor. This year has already seen the addition of sales staff and a new machine technician, along with two full-time interns. Automated Dynamics is currently looking to add another technician and have an open position for a Sales Representative in the Aerospace market.

Several local leaders were in attendance and spoke in support of the company. The list includes Joe Landry (Niskayuna Town Supervisor), Rory Fluman (Schenectady County Legislator), Phil Steck (NY State Assembly Member), Jim Tedisco (NY State Assembly Member), Mike Yevoli (Regional Director of Empire State Development), Ray Gillen (Schenectady Metroplex Development Authority Chairman), and David Buicko (CEO of Galesi Group).

The company explains that the new site also provides great opportunity for Automated Dynamics. The layout was specifically designed for their manufacturing capabilities, and the efficiency of the current facility offers a significant upgrade over the building they had occupied in Schenectady since the early nineties.
