It is planned to export 20% of basalt thermal insulation, which is the main product of a new plant “TechnoNICOL – Far East”, to the countries of the Asia-Pacific region by 2019. In total, the product range comprises about 100 articles of insulation materials, including technical insulation and fire protection.
The primary objective of the new enterprise is to provide the construction market of the Far East and Siberia with quality insulating materials under the import substitution policy. In the longer term, the company intends to enter the markets of Mongolia, Vietnam, and South Korea with the products of Khabarovsk plant.
Having the production capacity of up to 750,000 cubic meters per year, these plans look more than real. Two billion rubles investments will pay off during the next seven years, taking into account the advantages the residents of Priority Social and Economic Development Areas enjoy.
Almost simultaneously with the official launch of “TechnoNICOL – the Far East,” the company announced plans to start basalt insulation production at another Khabarovsk enterprise, that is “Bazalit DV”. The plant has already certified the quality of its products primarily designated for the shipbuilding and oil industries.
According to Irek Allayarov, the head of the direction “Mineral Insulation” in TechnoNICOL, basalt insulation materials produced by “Bazalit DV” are suitable for thermal insulation of pipelines, air ducts and air conditioning systems. The company intends to offer their products to shipyards and oil companies.
In the third quarter 2016, TechnoNICOL started to produce basalt technical insulation at the factory in the Krasnosulinsky industrial park.
