Russian Teplant JSC renews production line for mineral wool insulation

Company professionals have replaced the worn out equipment of a production line for mineral wool insulation. They renewed such important units as a drum forming chamber, a cupola, a shaft and a chain in the polymerization chamber.

The purity of a polymerization chamber influences the quality of output products and the operating speed of a production line, said Sergey Tarada, the Head of MVP-2 workshop.

Shutting down the production line for the repair did not affect the scope of mineral wool deliveries to the customers due to the product stock made during the winter months. In total, the company installed two lines for the manufacture of basalt fiber thermal insulation Gamma Meccanica S.R.L and STM tenova. Their total capacity is up to 60 thousand tons of rock wool per year.

This is not the first investment of Teplant in upgrading their production facilities. For example, the amount of such investments was about 27 million rubles in 2016. In general, the company estimates the mood of the insulation market as moderately optimistic and speaks about a rise in the number of project evaluation requests.
