A trade show for technical textiles and nonwovens will be co-located with the event dedicated entirely to composites used in building and construction.
JEC Group, the leading composites organisation in the world, will host the newest conference fully dedicated to the existing and upcoming developments in the promising field of the composite market, specifically, composites in building and construction. The event is designed for end-users, e.g. architects and designers who create buildings and infrastructure.
Keynote speakers from America, Europe, Asia and Africa will present development trends in the construction industry at McCormick Place (Chicago) on June 20-22, 2017.
In late May, another event leader, Messe Frankfurt Group, decided to reposition
Dennis Smith, President of Messe Frankfurt for North America explained their decision by the requests of both exhibitors and attendees:
Our intension is to present a B2B regional platform so that our exhibitors and visitors can reconnect or establish new business relationships as this industry continues to show strong growth. Education is very important to us and we will continue our successful offering of symposiums that aim to provide fresh information with many new take-a-ways adding to the overall experience.
We have already informed that Future of Composites in Construction will be held for the first time. The event involves several activities to cover construction topics and to address professionals in the allied industries.
We are increasingly concerned with the challenges that the Construction Industry faces. The Civil Society have growing demands in terms of aesthetic and functionality, whereas the common concerns of sustainability, durability, recyclability or again safety are leading to rethink the way we build today. Composites Materials have all the necessary properties to answer these needs,
says Ms Frédérique MUTEL, JEC Group President & CEO.
The Future of Composites in Construction will also be part of JEC Innovation Awards 2017, devoted to the building and construction industry, during which 6 winners will be awarded.
The decision to carry out two interesting events jointly, in our opinion, is a good decision making it possible to enhance the study of technical textiles and composite materials in construction and allowing a lot of professionals to get involved in solving the topical issues of the composite industry.
