Flexfab announces expansion of high performance thermoplastic composites manufacturing capability

Flexfab of Hastings MI has announced investment in its thermoplastics composites manufacturing facility in Grand Rapids MI.

The company has developed improved processing capabilities and reduced materials costs associated with its existing product lines. In addition to thermal stamping of thermoplastic composites, Flexfab has demonstrated manufacture of bodies of revolution and joining methods for high performance thermoplastic composites. These materials are capable of meeting flame, smoke, toxicity and OSU requirements for aerospace and rail commercial transportation applications. In addition, they provide structural capability, and excellent environmental performance, including corrosion resistance, for a variety of other industries.
