Bursa Industrial Summit-2017 is over in Turkey

The Industrial Summit included several different fairs focused on innovations in automotive and aerospace industries, composite materials application and metal processing technologies.

November 30th  – December 3rd  the Turkish city of Bursa hosted the global event that collected four industrial fairs under a single roof and brought together nearly 1200 participants from 60 countries.

The participants could take part in four fairs, such as the Bursa Metal Processing Technologies Fair, the Bursa Sheet Metal Processing Fair, Mould Eurasia 2017, and the Bursa Automation Fair at the Bursa International Fair and Congress Center.

The summit was attended by companies from the composite sector, working with various fiber types, including basalt. The Turkish Advanced Composite Cluster members carried out B2B negotiations and established new commercial ties.

The Industrial Summit brought together industry leaders on the same site. It was attended by investors from Turkey and abroad. President of Bursa Composite Cluster, professor, Dr Mehmet Karahan says that the summit has created a new level of cooperation for cluster firms, demonstrating that Bursa is able to become one of the most important locations for composites development.

In November the delegates from the Advanced Composite Cluster participated in the 2nd International Basalt Forum, during which they signed a memorandum on cooperation between BasaltUnion NGO and the Composite Cluster of the Bursa Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BTSO). The delegates from Basalt Projects GC also took part in Istanbul composite summit Turk Kompozit 2017.
