Roth Composite Machinery is setting new standards with high-speed winding process

By the new ROTHAWIN® technology, Roth Composite Machinery developed a procedure accelerating filament winding processes by five to ten times.

The main activity of Global Basalt Engineering LLC is creation of effective productions on release of continuous basalt fiber (СBF) with technologies of the last generation and composites on the basis of СBF (Basalt Fiber-Reinforced Polymer Composites as BFRP).

The manufacturer is going to present ROTHAWIN® at the JEC World in Paris from March 6 to 8, 2018 – the international trade fair for the composites industry.

The machine builder emphasises that after the fully-automated filament winding technology was developed, ROTHAWIN® is setting new standards with the high-speed winding process again. The company spokesperson confirmed us that new machinery is able to handle basalt fiber, as well as other natural and artificial fibers.

Bernd Fischer, Sales Director of Roth Composite Machinery believes that their design engineers developed a revolutionary procedure capable of replacing traditional winding processes and making the production processes much more effective. By this method, the company maintains its own standards as a technology leader.

Roth Composite Machinery has been developing, planning and manufacturing Filament Winding Machines for more than 50 years and has decade-long experience in the production of fully-automated plants in this sector.
