Techtextil Russia 2018 to take place in Moscow Expocentre in March

The tenth edition of Techtextil Russia dedicated to technical textiles and nonwovens will start on March, 20th lasting for four days.

This is a major industry-specific event on the post-Soviet territory where the attendees can get information about the latest developments in raw materials, equipment, manufacturing processes and also trends in the technical textile application in other sectors.

All exhibitors are divided into 12 product groups comprising Bondtec (surface and bonding techniques), Special and Protective Clothing, Technology, Processes and Accessories, Technical Textile, R&D etc. A product group Composites includes reinforcing textiles, composite textiles, prepregs, fibre-reinforced composites, fiber-reinforced plastics, concrete, textile sheet products for laminating.

Attendants of Techtextil Russia 2018 will be able to visit the national pavilions of Germany, Italy, the national exposition of China, the European Union pavilion. Such important players in the global textile market as Dakota Coatings, Fiab, Daman Polythread, Birla Cellulose, Apiteks are going to introduce their new products. The Russian textile industry will have the greatest representation due to the attendance of leading domestic companies: Gazprom, Coates, Khimvolokno, APO Aleko-Polimery and others.

A separate global stand Global Booth will showcase the trade fairs held under the international brand Techtextil worldwide. It is noteworthy that the Russian event has become annual since 2017, although other regions see this exhibition every two years.

Last year Techtextil Russia was visited by 5.5 thousand specialists from almost 30 countries. According to the organizers, most of them were satisfied with the results, and 93% were going to return to Moscow in 2018.
