Alpha Recycling Composites opens its capital to accelerate its development

The innovative french company that has developed a recycling process for composite materials based on carbon fiber, announces the entry into its capital of Freyssinet Aero Equipment and STS Group.

With their knowledge of the aerospace and composite materials sectors, and their industrial know-how, these two partners must accompany Alpha Recycling Composites in the industrialization of its technology.

This fundraising will indeed allow the structure to build a pilot of steam-thermolysis dedicated to the recycling of composites based on carbon-fiber. This pilot will have a treatment capacity of 300 metric tons per year from 2019.

This new phase of development if a continuation of the research work carried out in recent years at the Ecole des Mines in Albi, as part of a joint laboratory.

Alpha Recycling Composites has also received the support of the french Defence Procurement Agency (DGA) and the french public investment bank (BPI France)
