Tundra-M Drone Created Using CRP’s 3D Printing Technology

CRP Technology’s Windform carbon composite materials have been used to manufacture the Tundra-M 3D-printed drone prototype.

Tundra-M, created by Hexadrone, is a customisable drone for defence and rescue applications. Hexadrone has carried out the testing needed for the completion of the R&D phase of the drone, including flight, assembly/disassembly and landing tests.

Tundra-M is Hexadrone’s first fully modular, easy-to-use drone for multi-purpose tasks, suited for extreme weather conditions thanks to rugged, waterproof design. The rapidly detachable arms make the Tundra-M extremely flexible. The drone’s body was manufactured using CRP Technology’s Windform SP and its arms with Windform XT 2.0 carbon fibre reinforced composite 3D printing materials.

Tundra-M will be showcased at Eurosatory 2018 defence exhibition in Paris on 11-15 June.
