China’s Aucma unveils new driverless van

Qingdao-based Aucma has developed “China's first driverless van with independent intellectual property right”, the company announced on its WeChat official account.

The company which specializes in electric vehicles details that the new van is a low-speed truck with a speed of 30 km per hour ; the vehicle is equipped with binocular vision system and microwave and ultrasonic radars.

This driverless van can realize self-navigation and self-driving in closed and semi-closed field. In addition, it can be applied in many areas including directed logistics, human commuting, sightseeing tour, transshipment at port and public transportation.
