Roth Composite Machinery developed a procedure to accelerate filament winding processes

By the new Rothawin technology, Roth Composite Machinery developed a procedure accelerating filament winding processes by five to ten times.

After the fully-automated filament winding technology having been developed by the traditional company tracing back to the former company Bolenz & Schäfer, the machine builder from Hesse is setting new standards by the high-speed winding process again. Bernd Fischer, Sales Director of Roth Composite Machinery, emphasises:

“Our team of design engineers developed a revolutionary procedure by having realized the new Rothawin technology replacing traditional winding processes and making the production processes much more effective. By this method, we maintain our own standards as technology leader.”

The manufacturer is going to present Rothawin at the JEC World in Paris from March 6 to 8, 2018 – the international trade fair for the composites industry.

Roth Composite Machinery has been developing, planning and manufacturing Filament Winding Machines for more than 50 years and has decade-long experience in the production of fully-automated plants in this sector. The handling of all kinds of fibres – from simple glass fibres to sensitive, highly rigid fibres – also belongs to the know-how of the company. Filament Winding Plants having component weights of up to 120 tons and three shuttle carriages are tested in serial operation.
