Composite Cation-exchangable based on basalt fiber

One of the effective ways to control the properties of polymer-matrix composite materials (PCM) is to modify the reinforcing filler and the polymer binder, in particular upon receipt of composites with chemisorption properties.

Scientific and technological progress is closely linked to the development of the chemical industry in the country. The creation of new polymer composites, inexpensive cost and with high exploitation properties that are not inferior to foreign analogues, and in some cases exceeding them, is one of the priority directions of economic development of the country.

The paper presents the results of kinetic studies on the wetting of basalt fibres from different manufacturers. Established that the wetting ability of basalt fiber past thermo- and UHF-processing is significantly higher than unmodified. By differential scanning calorimetry the effect of filler on the synthesis of oligomers and their subsequent hardening. Describes the possible factors affecting the wetting ability of the filler. Conducted a comprehensive assessment of the functional properties of composite cation-exchangable material, synthesized on the basis of thermo- and UHF- processed basalt fibers from different manufacturers.
