To meet growing demand for contract manufacturing, since the beginning of 2019 the company has been moving to a new approx. 60,000 m2 site in Spenge, whereof 25,000 m2 are already available for the new moulding plant.
CEO Thomas Lorenz reports:
“With our high-performance 350 t to 2,000 t presses, we can make a huge range of moulded parts, from small to enormous. To optimise the logistics processes for this, we decided to move to a larger site. The new facility in Spenge is equipped and ready to meet future challenges in a host of industries, including construction and infrastructure, home appliances and automotive.
Thanks to the company’s enlarged machine park, it can now respond to customer wishes even more efficiently and flexibly. As experts in thermosetting plastics, the company serves as a contract manufacturer as well as all-in supplier, and advises customers based on its years of experience. The Lorenz team accompanies customers from the initial idea, to component design to make best use of material qualities, to FEM calculation and mould-making, to final assembly and shipping to the major client or end customer. The design department does simulations to determine whether the desired geometries are feasible, or if not, to present alternatives.
“Our experienced engineers assist from the first mould drawing through to production and logistics. One of our specialities is the development of special solutions, such as for plastic components in combination with concrete, or completely new materials tailored to specific product requirements.”
Development and production of special machines for the plastics industry and for metal turning and milling are also available on request.
