QCAnalytix is an in-line quality control system that ensures the strength and reliability of composite industrial materials and products used in oil and gas, chemical processing, mining, pulp and paper, and many other industries. It extends UTComp’s patented UltraAnalytix inspection technology for in-service assets to provide revolutionary quality control all along the value chain. Clarkson will present a technical paper on Non-Destructive Production Line Structural Evaluation, which discusses the application of QCAnalytix for composite railway tie manufacturing, at the 2019 Composites and Advanced Materials (CAMX) Expo in Anaheim, Calif., Sept. 23-26.
He is also a 2019 Manning Innovation Awards nominee. In recognition of his ground-breaking work developing a safe, non-destructive way to test composite tanks, pipes and other assets for reliability, Clarkson is nominated for the David E. Mitchell Award of Distinction. The winner will be announced Oct. 23.
QCAnalytix also enables composite manufacturers to make data-informed changes to their processes for rapid turnaround of improvements.
