Kaman extends MRO services to aftermarket

The aviation industry has embraced the light weight, durability of composite structures in their innovative designs, which in turn, has increased the need for composite MRO services. KCW is an accredited supplier, providing parts ranging from fairings and radomes, to rotor blades and winglets. In addition, KCW provides OEM and government MRO services for composite repair through their FAA Certified Part 145 Repair Station.

Andrew Chavez, General Manager, explained:

“We work on a number of the large-scale composite structures providing MRO services for government programs. Because of our expertise and the growing demand for composite repair that we are seeing from the aftermarket, we have decided to offer our services to a wider customer base.”

In addition to composite MRO services, KCW has capabilities in large-scale Non-Destructive Inspection (NDI), compression molding and vacuum forming. KCW’s FAA certified repair station is located in Wichita, Kansas.
