AeroMobil, a Slovakian engineering company, has unveiled a concept flying car specifically designed for China during the China International Import Expo (CIIE).
Developed exclusively for China, this concept flying car highlights the importance of the fast-growing Chinese personal aviation market, according to AeroMobil.
AeroMobil is also discussing future cooperation possibilities with local government officials during the CIIE. Shanghai’s Jiading District is in talks with AeroMobil to see whether the company can settle down in the district, according to local newspaper Shine.
The concept flying car specifically designed for China is resplendent in a new color scheme featuring red matte finish with contrasting gold leaf metallic paint.
It has a high strength carbon fibre monocoque structure for lightweight, which increased safety and interior integrity, according to AeroMobil. It has controls that transform seamlessly from the air to the road in seconds and adaptive suspension which adapts for in flight and road driving modes, maximizing aerodynamic stability and efficiency during flight and providing optimum handling when driving.
”We believe China has a vital role to play in the adoption of personal aviation and flying cars. We are very excited to be showing the AeroMobil flying car in China for the first time,” said Juraj Vaculik, chief executive officer and co-founder of AeroMobil.
