Tensile strength of composite rebar increased by 32 %, bending strength by 29 % — one of the composite manufacturers has revealed primary trial outcomes achieved by introducing only 0.05 wt% of OCSiAl’s TUBALL nanotubes into the resin of composite rebar. Along with a number of other important findings, this generates a paradigm shift in architectural design and will give rise to breakthroughs in the construction sector.
