The opening of the 3DExperience Education Center of Excellence in Advanced Composites at the Composites Manufacturing and Simulation Center (CMSC) of Purdue University underscores Dassault Systèmes’ commitment to the academia community’s efforts to develop the Workforce of the Future.

A Purdue University Center of Excellence, the CMSC is a leader in the education and training of a new generation of engineers in a digital world. The 3DExperience Education Center of Excellence will serve as a new partnership that will connect a major American university, Purdue with the specialist in simulation, Dassault Systèmes and industries who are pioneers in creating the digital environment for Industry Renaissance.

Their goal is to advance the creation of the digital twin and model based engineering by creating a learning environment at multiple levels – from research in manufacturing and performance of advanced composites to the engagement of students – to build the digital workforce of the future for Industry Renaissance.

The opening will take place online the October 28, 2020 at 4:00 pm. Participants will have the privilege of hearing from the leadership of Dassault Systèmes and Purdue University about the assets each bring to this partnership Next, those who have exceptional expertise in digital engineering will describe their experiences and visions for future success Finally, several examples of how Purdue is pursuing this undertaking will be demonstrated by a “fly over” tour of the Indiana Manufacturing Institute.
