Southern Research Contributes to Low Cost Carbon Fibre Project

The US Department of Energy (DOE)’s Office of Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy (EERE) recently announced funding of $3,745,413 to Western Research Institute (WRI) to develop low cost carbon fibre components using various resources as the feedstock, such as coal and biomass.
